TAK Middleware
System design: a gateway translating fleet telemetry into TAK Cursor-on-Target feeds.
Problem
There is no horizontal, self-serve way to pipe commercial fleet telematics (Samsara/Geotab) into TAK for unified situational awareness; every path today is bespoke labor or hand-rolled scripts.
System design
A Go translation engine and Cursor-on-Target emitter over persistent TLS streaming with connection pooling, reconnect/backoff, and TTL-based stale-asset decay; per-tenant credential isolation and attribute mapping; geofencing in the middleware; and deployment tiers from multi-tenant SaaS to an air-gapped appliance.
Status
A system-design and market-analysis project (architecture locked, pre-implementation). Validated the market gap across 80+ vendors and confirmed technical feasibility of horizontal REST-to-CoT translation.
