Problem

A boutique Isla Vista leasing company needed a branded, staff-manageable property site; MLS/IDX options were inflexible.

What I built

A custom Kadence child theme with property archive/detail templates; a Property custom post type with 14 ACF fields (version-controlled as Local JSON); a gallery with reorder and lightbox; homepage featuring; a server-side filter archive; a contact form with address auto-population; and RankMath SEO with RealEstateListing schema and a sitemap.

Engineering highlights

A Docker stack (WordPress-FPM + nginx + MariaDB with health checks); a reverse proxy with caching and security rules; a portable ACF JSON schema; prod/dev compose files; deployed on a multi-tenant Docker host. Live and staff-managed.
